LAUTECH: Why Govs. Ajimobi, Aregbesola must resign – ASUU

The Benin Zone of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU), on Thursday called on governor Ajimobi Abiola of Oyo State and Mr. Raulf Aregbesola, his Osun State counterpart, to resign as governors of both states over their inability to pay salary of the staff of Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

Prof. Fred Esumen, the ASUU Zonal Coordinator, made the call in Benin on Thursday while briefing newsmen on the state of the university owned by the two Western states.

He called on both governors to own up to their responsibility as anyone who employed staff but could not pay for the services rendered had no business in employing a staff.
