A Nollywood actressToyin Abraham Ajeyemi has vehemently denied allegations that she detained the mother of a social media user who had been trolling her.
X user had accused her of arresting his mother and called her shameless for the alleged act. Toyin clarified that she only reported a cybercrime incident as a citizen and did not arrest anyone.
The Twitter user further revealed how she picked up her mom from her shop at Panti police station and prayed for God to judge her, and Toyin replied, stating that he was lying as she explained the situation.
She emphasized that while she tolerates name-calling and insults, she draws the line at cursing her children and spreading lies.
In an Instagram Live session, Toyin reiterated that she exercised her democratic right by reporting the incident and did not arrest anyone’s mother.
She believes the backlash is due to her support for another person, for which she received no payment.
Toyin expressed her readiness to face any consequences, even death, but vowed to ensure that those who bullied and defamed her are held accountable.
