Reactions as the fast-rising singer Muiz, better known as Barber Chair, has shared his own side of the story after he stopped working with his boss and Hypeman God Over Everything (GOE).
Remember that when GOE made their breakup public on the internet, it was made clear that the adolescent hypeman was feeling conceited and ready to go it alone. But as they parted ways, GOE got back the name he gave him—”God over Junior.”
Many social media users expressed their shock at this disclosure, saying that Barber Chair is doomed to fail if he abandons God Over Everything. The Nollywood actress Funke Akindele counselled Muiz to remain with GOE unless he was going to be annihilated. Many likened his devastation to that of Lyta, the young Nigerian celebrity.
Barber Chair begged Nigerians to be patient with him, saying that he had a valid reason for leaving GOE in reaction to all the uproar that had been generated online. Then he disclosed that his situation differs from singer Lyta’s.
He claimed that prior to meeting GOE, he was already a hypeman. He went on to say that GOE was the reason he was recognised. Social media users responded to the video in droves, leaving comments on social media sites expressing their opinions.
In his speech, “I was already an Hypeman before I Met God Over Everything, Please Nigerians take it easy on me I am not a bad person, please you all should try and understand that this my own case is not the same with the case of Lyta or Segun Wire, i have a very Good Reason why I left Hypeman GOE”.
