Popular veteran Nollywood actress Jaiye Kuti has shared some words of encouragement for her fans and herself on her page. She even disclosed that things have been tough, even though she herself is equally tired, and that she needs to encourage herself most of the time.
She questioned why younger people are dying while older people are still alive after the film industry who lost two young actors and actresses recently, but she also counselled the living to never give up. She gave advice to move and pray for the deceased to rest in peace. She also said that those of us who are still here should make every effort to live fulfilling lives as we never know what the future holds.
She said: I know it has been tough honestly, I’m equally tired and gattu encouraged myself most times. Please let’s just move on . Ko si nkan ti oju koriri. If heavens falls, all of us would sing to the chorus however, let’s avoid it from falling. Rip to the beautiful souls that are gone . May their souls rest peacefully.
