A renowned actor, Femi Branch, discussed how director Bolanle Austen-Peters impacted his performance in the viral film House of Ga’a while he took to his Instagram page on Monday. He also shared behind-the-scenes pictures from the movie and narrated how the director helped in moulding him properly into the character.

The movie star detailed how Bolanle helped him in preparing for his role in the 2018 project “Moremi the Musical“.
He said: “She took me down this same road when I was preparing to play the Olugbo (Bush Kong) in Moremi the Musical and we travelled farther this time till we discovered my Ga’a,” .
The actor joked that fans shouldn’t hold him responsible for how he played the part because she was the one who came up with it, adding that she was the tool that helped him discover his identity in House of Ga’a. Femi portrays the military chief of the Oyo Empire, Bashorun Ga’a, a despot.The movie displays his power-hungry, self-serving strategies, and corruption.
Ga’a is shown in the film as a self-centred father, husband, and leader who was unable to accept defeat, which ultimately led to his collapse and death.Ibrahim Chatta, Mike Afolarin, Toyin Abraham, Funke Akindele, and others are in the cast of the film.
House of Ga’a premiered on Netflix on July 26.
