“I’ve Spent Over N1.4billion on Film Village without Loan or Grants”- Ibrahim Chatta spills.

A multi-talented Nollywood actor, producer, director, and movie star, Ibrahim Chatta, who owns the Africhatta Film Village and Resort, has provided a profound realisation into the complexities of the film industry and has reportedly drawn a lot of visitors and swallowed up at least N1.4 billion naira in his Africhatta Film Village.

He revealed some of the hardships of the imaginary world around his film hamlet by mentioning that he created it entirely on his own, without the aid of grants or loans.

It is reported that the film village is located in Oyo State and spans approximately 74 acres of land. It is made up of cottages that have drawings depicting the Yoruba cultural history and look indigenous. There is also a stable for horses and other animals.

Ibrahim Chatta claimed in a video clip to have invested more than N1.4 billion to create such a great asset. According to him, that sum does not include grants or loans.

The 54-year-old’s revelation has captivated many social media users who have praised his dedication and resilience to his craft.Chatta also noted that it took him about four years to complete the project, as he didn’t have the capital.
