Nollywood actress Funke Akindele penned a heartfelt message celebrating her senior colleague Mo Abudu’s birthday today.
She posted a picture of the actress on her Instagram page and thanked her for all of her diligent effort and sincerity. She also prayed for the actress’ long life, good health, and fortune.
Funke went on to say that Mo Abudu had assisted her in numerous ways than she could have counted and that it was she who had given her the confidence to pursue her dream of being a film director.
She said that in addition to setting the standard for the film industry, she is also an example of the strength of commitment and perseverance.
With regard to her fans and followers showering Mo Abudu with prayers as she entered a new age, a few of her colleagues, including Iyabo Ojo, also joined her in celebrating the beautiful actress.
She wrote: Happy 60th birthday to an ageless beauty and a trailblazer in every sense! Aunty Mo Abudu!! You’re not only a pacesetter in the movie industry but a testament to the power of dedication and hard work. Your encouragement and push helped me find my voice as a film director , and I’m forever grateful.
