Asake, the crooner of “Remember,” made headlines lately when he packed the 20,000-seat O2 Arena while performing in a magnetic mood. The YBNL signee makes history by shutting down the 02 Arena for the second time in a year.
On the other hand, a video featuring actor Lala and singer Asake at the singer’s UK performance has gone viral online. Online users, particularly former Obafemi Awolowo University students, expressed their disapproval of this move, pointing out that actress Lala had previously supported Asake.
Actor Lala reportedly transported Asake from Lagos to Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) in Ile Ife, Osun State. This information was shared by a well-known blogger going by the handle @AsakeTerrorist.
Since Lala attended Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), he gave Asake permission to perform in his on-campus productions.
On September 21, 2024, Asake extended his sincere gratitude to Lala by inviting him to his 20,000-seat O2 Arena performance, where they were spotted exuberantly dancing together.
