Movie star actress Faithia Balogun Williams has taken to her verified Instagram page to appreciate those that have been checking on her after the loss of her stepdaughter Zeenat.
The beautiful actress has been in grievances for the past week after losing her fun, affectionate, and nurturing daughter.
She revealed that the past week has been a time of reflection and prayer following the sad loss of someone dear to her.
She expresses gratitude to everyone who reached her, checked on her, and even prayed for her throughout her difficult time, stating that their support has been a tremendous source of strength for her.
Insidenaija reported that veteran Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has lost his first child, Zeenat Balogun, in the cold hands of death and his ex-wife, Faithia Balogun Williams mourned with him.
On Saturday, October 5, the actor posted a heartbreaking photo of a flickering candle surrounded by flowers on his Instagram profile. The image represents the light that has now been extinguished in his life.
It was gathered that Saidi Balogun, who fathered four children, was in the middle of a stage performance at Terra Kulture on Friday when he received the devastating news of his daughter’s death.
For Nollywood actor and director Saidi Balogun, it’s a “black Saturday,” as he reportedly lost his daughter Zainab.
The Yoruba actor posted a picture of a candlelit scene with flowers all around it, along with various birds and sad emoticons, on his Instagram page.
