Nollywood actress Biodun Okeowo, better known by her stage name Omoborty, has expressed gratitude to her senior colleague Lola Idije for standing up for her against the accusation of husband stealing.
According to Gossipinfo, Gistlover, a controversial Instagram blogger, said that Biodun had stolen her spouse from Lola Idije’s daughter. They were married early this year.
Addressing the allegation, Okeowo revealed that her husband doesn’t know any of Lola Idije’s daughters and had only met the veteran through her. Shutting down the rumors, she urged her colleague, Tosin, to clear the air on the news as she noted how the said colleague had been subbing for her.
Lola had also spoken out, making it known that Biodun never snatched her husband from her daughter. She noted how she was at the actress’ wedding, which would have been impossible if the rumors were true. She also stressed that the first time she spoke to Biodun’s husband was when she introduced him to her on a phone call, and none of her daughters knew him personally.
Now, taking to her Instagram page, Biodun appreciated Lola for speaking the truth, and she noted how the internet never forgets things, and she doesn’t want to be remembered for something that doesn’t define her. She added that she needed to speak up for herself, her husband, her children, her family, and her fans.

I come first in all of this, and my sanity matters. Being bullied is not healthy. I had to speak out, especially after seeing my daughter’s comment on Gistlover, defending me. That was the breaking point for me. I can’t remain silent seeing my child in that state. That is something she would never have done under normal circumstances. For her to do that. I know it’s time for me to save their faces.
