The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the appointment of Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh as the new Elerin of Erin-Ile Oyun Local government area of the State.
Alhaji Abdullahi Abubakar Bata, the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs, and Community Development, stated this in a statement issued on Friday.
Governor AbdulRazaq also appoints Oba Johnson Olajide Kehinde as the Edemarun of Kajola in Oke-Ero Local Government Area Council of Kwara State
ROYAL NEWS reports that while Elerin is a 1st class monarch, the Edemarun is a 4th class traditional ruler in the state.

The Kwara State Government, led by His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), has approved the appointment of Oba Adesoye Adebowale Jimoh as the new Elerin of Erin-Ile, a 1st Class Monarch in Oyun Local Government Area and Oba Johnson Olajide Kehinde has been appointed as the Edemarun of Kajola, a 4th Class Monarch in Oke-Ero Local Government Area.

The official presentation of staff of office for both monarchs is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Saturday, 19th October 2024.
