Veteran Yoruba actor Dele Odule has recently reacted to a viral video of Nkechi Blessing Sunday, apologising to all the movie industry and association of TAMPAN in a recent video shared online.
Nkechi who was suspended in 2021 for her social altercation with her coworker Lege Miami, begs for pardon.
Following the suspension in 2021, Lege Miami appeared remorseful and tendered an apology while his colleague, Nkechi Blessing, disregarded TAMPAN’s notice of suspension and called their bluff.
Both actors were suspended indefinitely from appearing on Yoruba movie sets after they became embroiled in an escalating war of words on Instagram.
Nkechi Blessing began the social media outburst because Lege Miami appeared sympathetic to Baba Ijesha’s plight, who was accused of s3xual assault with a minor at the time.
Nkechi Blessing publicly pleaded with the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) for forgiveness after her suspension in 2021 is captured in a recent video that is circulating on social media.
The actress was given a microphone to speak in the video shared online, but all she could do at the time was kneel down with her two legs and publicly beg Mr. Latin at the Nigerian Celebrities Entertainment Awards in Toronto, Canada.
The actress revealed how the industry helped her to become who she is today; she also asked Odunlade Adekola to join her in begging the movie industry for what she has done.
She said that she would love to remain in that position since she understands the impact the movie industry has had on her life, as Mr. Latin approaches the stage to help her get off her knees.
Nkechi Blessing’s public actions are appreciated by netizens because they weren’t expected of her. They were complimenting her and stating that she is a respectable, well-trained woman.
The veteran revealed that he doesn’t often reply or leave comments on social media, but Nkechi’s actions prompted him to come online and accept her apologies, implementing she had won his heart and he prayed for God to continue to bless what she does.
He wrote: Nkechi, you really won my heart with this, you know I hardly respond or comment on issues especially on social media but I must be sincered, you’ve done greatly well, may almighty father continually bless your hustle, you’re loved
