In an update on Thursday, Mercy Aigbe chose to overlook the negativity and thanked everyone for their messages, prayers, and offers of assistance, sharing that her phone was flooded with calls and texts. She felt the love she received was truly overwhelming. The mother of two wrote;
“I feel so blessed, surrounded with so much love! People asking for my account details, my phone buzzing non-stop, prayers, comments, posts—omg, I am so overwhelmed with all the love shown me, especially at this time.”
Mercy expressed her gratitude to all who contacted her, hoping that God kept them and their families safe from danger. She added:
“Big thank you to everyone who reached out, thank you for your calls, prayers, words of encouragement, support, DMs—it means a lot to me.
