Actress Tosin Adeyemi has finally spoken in response to the numerous enquiries raised by her semi-naked moments in Bolanle Austen-Peters’ film House of Ga’a, where she stated in a recent interview with Pulse that it was the most difficult aspect of playing Zainab.
In two sequences, Tosin portrayed Zainab, the slave of Ga’a who eventually became his wife and displayed her breasts. Her co-stars Femi Branch, who portrayed the sinister Bashorun Ga’a, and Bridget Nkem, who brought Agbonyin to life, joined her.
When asked about the scene that tested her the most, she confirmed that it was her semi-nude bedroom moment with Femi Branch.
She said: “It was indeed the most challenging part of my role,” she admitted.
The interviewer’s suggestion that the actress’s provocative behaviour may have been staged gave the discussion a fascinating twist. This revelation intensifies the controversy surrounding the scene, which had already been discussed after Tosin Adeyemi declined to comment on it after the film’s July 26 premiere.
House of Ga’a boasts a star-studded cast, including Femi Branch, Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, Lateef Adedimeji, Ali Nuhu, Juliana Olayode, Ibrahim Chatta, Stan Nze, Femi Adebayo, and Bimbo Manuel.
