A seasoned Nollywood actor, producer, and director, Ibrahim Chatta, shared an amazing tale of how he raised the funds to construct his well-known N1.4 billion film resort in Oyo State and said in a recent video that has gone viral that he funded the N1.4 billion project on his own without taking any loans.
He who has been making headlines for his grand film village claims that he received the sizable amount of money from an unexpected source of income during the COVID-19 lockdown. He also explained that, while working with fellow actor Tayo Sobola, he turned to giving personalised shout-outs during the lockdown.
He claimed to have made roughly N300,000 for each shout-out, and the popularity of these requests helped him become financially successful. He also disclosed that, prior to the film village, he had no savings and was having difficulties with unfinished real estate projects.
Ibrahim Chatta gave thanks to God for the prompt help and explained how he had been praying for money to complete the construction of one such property, which had stalled at the lintel level. He credited supernatural intervention for his breakthrough.
