There are seven children in the family, Mercy Ebosele being the sixth. She and her siblings are used to moving around as their father was a military man who raised them. Her education included Memorial Primary School at Oba Adeyemi Secondary School. She graduated from the University of Ibadan with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts.
The actress was married to Kehinde Olasupo, popularly known as Kenny Keys, and was born and raised in Oyo State. She originally hails from Edo State, part of Nigeria.
She began her acting career while taking part in school plays and dramas in her secondary school years. She first gained notoriety in 2003 when she entered the film business and went on to star in numerous films, such as Adura, Tibitire, Imisi Esu, Soko Soko, Oko nene, Dodo, and Alasela.
