Reactions on social media as a Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe took to her Instagram page to mourn the death of a well-known TV host, actress, singer, and fashion designer, Lara Odubo, which she and a few of her peers have faced criticism for openly lamenting the passing of well-known TV host, actress, singer, and fashion designer Lara Odubo.
Mercy Aigbe, who appeared to have known her well, lamented her passing while admitting that she was still in shock over the news that she had passed away. She was accompanied in her grief by her spouse Adeoti Kazeem and other colleagues, including Bimpe Akintunde, Toyin Adewale, and Fausat Balogun.
Insidenaija reports that the multitasker died on July 28, 2024, a Saturday. Blogger Temilola Sobola made the devastating announcement. The artist apparently experienced health problems a few days prior to her passing; however, the precise cause of death is still unknown.
Some internet users took exception at this, pointing out that the actress and her colleagues never supported the singer when she was alive or posted anything.
