After several years away from the screen, movie star Mosun Filani announced her return to the industry last year. Insidenaija recalls that she has now disclosed her reasons for taking a hiatus from the profession in an interview with Oyinmomo TV, while she revealed that she put her children’s needs ahead of her work, which is why she took a vacation from the movie industry.
She said that she chose to put her acting career on hold in order to give her children more time to grow up. She also mentioned how quickly time passes and that business was never her top priority. When a child is accepted to a university, their parents no longer have custody of them, so she wants to make sure they are well-versed in life, especially in light of current events on social media.
She said “Business was not my priority. I decided to take that break. I took a long break for the kids to grow up. For how long do they stay with us. When a child is in the University, hë or she is no longer under the parents’ care, take it or leave it.
