There is something really annoying about solskjaer, personally I feel he approaches every game with the right mentality but when things are going the wrong way, you need to take desperate measures.

And again, the draw just shows that solskjaer didn’t learn his lesson from his previous games, as he repeated one big Mistake.

Although both teams started the game very slowly, Manchester United however managed to get things rolling as they piled pressure on the toffees defence until a gorgeous cross from Marcus Rashford met Edison Cavani at the far post to give the host the lead.

And before the first half concluded, Bruno Fernandes came up with a delightful goal, one from the top drawer, giving united a 2-0 advantage.

But after the break, it was something else, as Everton started on the front foot, scoring 2 goals in three minutes.

This left united in shock but they did really well to keep their concentration and charged for a third goal.

And it came as Luke Shaw whipped in a glorious ball for Mctominay to score. But in added time, Calvert lewin scrambled a late equalizer.

One BIG Mistake caused the draw…

Late Substitutions

There is a popular saying that ‘old habits die hard’ and that has been the case for solskjaer who keeps on making one Mistake time after time.

For those who watched the game, it was quite evident that the players worked very hard to keep a high press but later on, some players starting showing fatigue after Man United went 3-2 up. And that was probably when solskjaer would have made some reinforcements.

It was clear that greenwood, Cavani and wan bissaka were tired after working really hard. But solskjaer waited for the time to run down before making the changes and the end product was evident. We had the likes of Bailey and tuanzebe on the bench, when you see how the game looks like, solskjaer would have put Bailey and tuanzebe earlier to have a four man base and pace.

My Player Ratings…
Nevertheless, he who fights and run away lives to fight another day. So i’ll give De Gea 7, Maguire 7, lindelof 6, wan bissaka 7, Shaw 7.5, Mctominay 8, Fred 7, pogba 6, Fernandes 8, rashford 7, greenwood 7, Cavani 8.
