President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide Bashir Ahmad has debunked news that huge crowd turned out for #EndSARS protest today, November 7, in Abuja, Inidensija reports.

While reacting to The Nation outlet publication Ahmad said, “the Nigeria news outlet in it editorial today, called out the CNN for fake news, now they are exactly doing the same thing, spreading an old video taken in Lagos, as today’s protest in Abuja. It’s difficult to understand what The Nation is trying to achieve for doing that, and constantly.”

The Nation had earlier reported that, the second wave of #EndSARS protest in Abuja on Monday has seen a very huge turn out of protesters.

Youths in Abuja in demanding for the release of all detained protesters and unfreezing of their accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), took to the streets of Abuja.

Also, protesters took over streets of Ondo state calling for good governance. They accused the government of paying lip service to their demands.

This comes as the police threatened to deal with protesters ruthlessly.
