Manchester United may have the opportunity to sign Jadon Sancho for only £50m during the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils were heavily linked with the England international last summer, but a deal failed to materialise due to the £108m price tag.
A recent report claimed that Dortmund are prepared to accept a lesser fee of around £80m for the attacker this summer with the financial burden due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, according to Eurosport, the club may suffer more losses over the coming months and the failure to qualify for the Champions League could see them sell Sancho for much less.
They could be willing to sanction Sancho’s departure for only £50m and it is reported that United could face direct competition from Chelsea and Liverpool for his signature.
Sancho has bagged eight goals and 13 assists from 26 appearances in all competitions for Dortmund this term. He will enter the final two years of his contract in July this year.
