Mason Greenwood missing as Manchester United announce Europa League squad with two surprise names.
Sky sports reports that the Red Devil has announced their 24 man squad for Europe’s second biggest club competition, the UEFA Europa League knockout stages.
With the resumption due in two weeks time, Manchester United are drawn against David silva’s Real Sociedad from the Spanish LA Liga. With the first leg due on the 18th of February and the second leg a week later.
Former Atalanta winger Amad Diallo have been included. The 18 years old who was signed for 37.2m euros in the just concluded winter transfer window will be given the opportunity to mark his mark.
Another surprise name in the list is England International defender Phil Jones who has not make a competitive appearance for the club in over a year. He suffered a knee injury last year which has kept him out.
Sergio Romero is not in the squad as the 33 years old is awaiting MLS transfer window for a move away.
Mason Greenwood and Brandon Williams are also not included in the 24 man squad, however, they will still able to play given that they are homegrown players and are eligible for UEFA’s B list.
