After a well deserved stunning goal by Scott Mctominay against West Ham to hand Manchester United an FA Cup quarter finals place, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that he may have to allow Scott Mctominay to get more attacking roles to unleash his finishing abilities.

Scott Mctominay was showed that he’s very good in attacking including a long range stunner against Southampton and a clinical header against Everton.

Although the Scottish international remains a key defensive worker lower the pitch, but he has shown the willingness to move forward all the time.

However, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is fully aware of Mctominay’s ability going forward and has said that his side must learn from him.

“Scott is a clinical striker, he used to play as a striker, we know that, and he finishes with authority” Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Manchester United TV.

“Like bang, finish, no safety and no messing about, that’s something we should learn”. For a defensive midfielder, we’ll have to unleash him and release him more forward because he’s a goal threat up there in the box and he’s got a good striking tactics on him” the Norwegian manager said.
